20 MPH SPEED LIMIT WILL BE ENFORCED!

Attention Speeders

Residents are talking about the numerous close calls they’ve experienced due to a few people speeding through the neighborhood.  In response to numerous requests, we have contracted with JSO Officers to monitor our neighborhood streets and have approved speeding tickets to be given out to any driver exceeding the speed limit of 20 MPH.  Help us keep our walkers and bikers safe.

Be a responsible driver!

ANGELS ARE HERE TO HELP

Fourteen Hidden Hills Angels have completed orientation and have passed the background check. They are ready to respond to those who need neighborly services due to illness or other family crisis.  Examples of their services are picking up prescriptions or groceries when you live alone and are ill.  Call 419-8243 to talk to one of our volunteers.   NOTE:  If you would like to volunteer to be an Angel, the applications are available on this website under the tab "Forms."

WHY WE ENFORCE OUR COVENANTS AND RESTRICTIONS

Hidden Hills Community Association takes seriously its legal responsibility to enforce property maintenance standards and to ensure a reasonable quality of life for the community’s residents.  You play an important part in keeping our community attractive, clean, and safe. Through education, awareness, and self-enforcement, we can all contribute to making Hidden Hills the best Jacksonville neighborhood in which to live, work, and raise a family.

GUIDELINES FOR TRASH BIN ENCLOSURES

All trash and recycle containers must be kept out of site of the street and your neighbors' windows.  If you're considering a fenced area to enclose the containers,  the full guidelines with all details are posted on the Forms & Guidelines page of this website.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS FOR EVERY HOMEOWNER

  • Please check your yard for any standing water. Mosquitoes breed quickly and standing water needs to be eliminated as soon as it collects.
  • Please blow leaves into mulch areas of your yard, and not into the street. Leaves clog storm drains and cause more standing water for mosquito breeding.  Leaves make excellent mulch.
  • Every homeowner is responsible for blowing or clearing leaves and other debris from the street and curb in front of their property.  HHCA will bring in a street sweeper only when leaf fall is at its worst.
  • One of the best safety features around your home is lighting.  We encourage you to leave your outside lights on throughout the evening while darkness comes early.
  • Please don't park on the medians - the weight of your vehicle breaks up the expensive concrete curbing.
